IRCTC Cruise Booking Plan Details

Recently launches IRCTC cruise booking service from Mumbai To Goa, Lakshadweep, Kochi and Sri Lanka. The Indian Railways has opened the bookings for cruise packages. Tourists can book the packages for the month of October, November and December. You can visit the official IRCTC tourism website (irctctourism.com) to book cruise tickets. IRCTC is offering various cruise packages in partnership with Cordelia Cruises, which is a cruise line that offers various tour packages across South and West India.

You can now book cruises through the IRCTC website. IRCTC has tied up with Cordelia Cruise Company for this. The cruise company is going to start its first voyage from 6 September 2021.

Booking through Online Portal

IRCTC has also started booking cruises from the online portal. Under this, tourists will be able to enjoy cruise to places like Goa, Lakshadweep, Kochi and Sri Lanka.

In the first stage, the base of the cruise will be Mumbai. In this package, tourists will be made to travel to Goa and Diu.

At the same time, the base of the cruise will be Kochi in its second stage in October. In this package of 3 and 4 days, passengers will be made to travel to Lakshadweep, Goa, Mumbai.

Its third stage will be in May 2022 and the cruise will be shifted to Chennai. From there the cruise will travel to places like Colombo, Galle, Jaffna and Trincomalee.

Cruise Fare in Three Categories

Cruise fares are divided into three categories. Passengers traveling in economy class will have to pay Rs 17,877 for a two-night journey from Mumbai to Goa.

For sea-facing room, a fare of Rs 25,488 will have to be paid for the tour from Mumbai to Goa. This tour fair will be for two nights.

For the balcony room with sea facing view, Rs 31,506 will have to be paid for the tour from Mumbai to Goa. This tour fair will also be for two nights.

There will be facilities like five star hotels on this cruise and passengers will also be able to take facilities of swimming pool, bar, open theater and gym.

These Rules will be for Passengers

IRCTC has issued some guidelines regarding cruise travel. Under this, it is necessary for the passengers that they have taken the corona vaccine. This is a necessary condition for the journey. Also, the RT-PCR negative report of 72 hours before will also be necessary. 

All the crew members of the cruise will also be vaccinated. A medical team will be deployed for the convenience of the people as well as health checkup of the passengers will also be done.
