4. Eliminate distractions
Try to stay focused when you are writing. Make sure you have researched beforehand. Turn off the Internet, TV, all phone and notifications. Keep your table clutter-free and write peacefully without any disruptions.
5. Engage your five senses
Listen to music or read a book that inspires you. Go to a coffee shop and treat yourself to the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans followed by a cup of steaming, hot coffee. Enjoy it with a snack. Watch a movie or TV show you have not seen yet. Or else, go out with your friends for a stroll in the park or the beach and observe the people who go by. You can play a game too!
6. It is perfect to be imperfect
It is completely OK to not have the first perfect draft. Do not bother about spelling or grammar or even good writing (if it is handwritten) in your first draft. Just start writing. You can always edit later.
Finally, it is all in the mind. So do not acknowledge that the writing block exists. Just write and try to prove it wrong.
