Latest Mumbai local’s station makeover drive by MAD Foundations Art project Next Station Beautification Photos of 36 Railway Stations. In a primary art attack drive, 36 Mumbai suburban railway places are set to get a makeover inside. The city’s largest ever beautification power in October this year.
This art project drive know as a ‘Hamara Station Hamari Shaan’.
The 36 stations, throughout each Western and Central line, might be wipe clean. Painted and beautified with murals and artwork over a seven day length. The drive will begin on October 2 and culminate on October eight.

The drive is a joint effort by Mumbai’s NGO Making a Difference (MAD) and Mumbai First. A think-tank working for the betterment of the city.
The beautification program, known as ‘Hamara Station Hamari Shaan’ is a part of an initiative call Daan Utsav. A volunteer push initiative that encourages humans to do any act of giving of their choice.
Consistent with a MAD volunteer, 12,000 students and operating experts from the city have already signed on the take part inside the beautification power. The NGO has also acquired sponsors for the beautification of 25 stations, that could value anywhere among Rs three to 5 lakh according to station.
Worli-based architect Manisha Rangnekar is spearheading the design part of the next station beautification drive.
